Seal-Quarter Light-Front RH Curved

After trying many different rubber specialists, we have at long last found a supplier who is able to produce these much needed items. In view of the relatively small demand, it would be totally uneconomic to produce a complete moulding as original, especially as no less than four tools would be needed for the front alone (right and left hand, plus early and late types which had different pivot points).

We therefore offer these as separate sections, to be sealed together when fitting onto the car. There has been great difficulty in creating the tight bend required at the bottom front corner without distortion of the edges at this point, and it was our intention to supply one section only to be used for left or right (it is necessary to cut away the upright section to match the old rubbers and to drill holes where needed.

However, as there is still some difficulty in producing consistent good edges in the curve, we are sorting seals into left and right hand according to the best outside edge on the tight bend as the inside will be cut away.

PLEASE EXAMINE EACH MOULDING BEFORE FITTING TO ENSURE THAT THE BEST EDGE IS USED ON THE OUTSIDE. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IN WHICH THESE SEALS ARE HANDED.
