Foreword.
In the preparation of this Instruction Manual, great care and thought has been expended. Its object is to place the owner of an M.G. Midget "TC" Series car in possession of really detailed information, so that the maintenance of his car may be ensured.
When the time arrives for a part of your car to be dismantled, reference to the detailed instructions can be of considerable value, both to the owner and repair shops, which may not be fully acquainted with the details of the construction of the M.G. Series "TC" Midget.
There is danger in fitting other than genuine M.G. parts to M.G. cars, and we strongly advise all M.G. owners to insist upon genuine M.G. parts for all repairs and replacements. M.G. parts have been specially designed, and are manufactured to withstand the stresses imposed. We conclude this warning with the reminder that the fitting of parts which are not genuine M.G. parts renders the Guarantee issued in respect of the car concerned null and void.
Owners arc reminded that "any prices quoted for M.G. service parts are nett at the Distributors' or Dealers' premises. Postage and packing charges will of course be extra when parts are forwarded. Prices of M.G. service parts are naturally subject to an increase in overseas markets, in order to cover freight, insurance, duty, etc.
